The backstreet Boys, Gwen Stefani, Robbie Williams, Britney Spears to name a few… The Pop divas of the 90's were still going strong thanks to albums they released. The trend of teen pop stars also took off thanks to TV’s the Disney channel, so girls like Miley Cyress hit the Scene. And of course the show American Idol has been a Massive Phenomenon and having created many a pop star, Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are just two. R&B and Pop also blended to bring about singers such as Rhianna.
Pop music may be simple, repetitive, easy-to-make music according to the critics but its catchy, cool, sing-a-long tunes that we all know and love!
